Our projects for 2005
Miguel and the staff have big plans for Casa Hogar Nacer this year. Here's a look at the tasks they hope to accomplish this year:
- Increase the number of chickens we raise and sell to 1000 every 40 days
- Increase the number of egg-laying hens to 100
- Begin selling orange and mandarin marmelade to add value to the oranges we grow
- Increase the number of mother pigs to 10 so we can produce 70-80 piglets to sell for Christmas
- Obtain 10 cows to produce milk we can sell
- Increase the number of tilapia ponds to 2 so we can have 70 fish in each
- Open the library with books, computers, and typing machines
